Before we get started, I must say that I will be posting a lot of information to take in all at once. Don’t try to learn it all from Day 1. It can be very overwhelming and you will get discouraged, and no one wants that! That being said, I have created a “Couponing 101” tab that you can access anytime, so that you can learn at your pace!
My #1 recommendation for those just starting out is don’t feel like you have to get EVERY deal at EVERY store. You will love it for the first few weeks, but you will get burnt out rather fast.
Once you determine which store you want to focus on, read and understand the store coupon policy. Most store policies can be found online or you can ask for one at customer service the next time you are in the store. Below are store policies that I have found online:
A lot of people recommend printing off each store’s policy and keeping it with you so that if you run into problems during checkout, you can reference the policy. I personally do not do this because I feel that 9 times out of 10 the problem can be solved by asking for a manager. If I come across a problem that cannot be resolved after speaking with the manager, I choose to pass on the deal. There is little out there that I feel is worth arguing with someone in the middle of the store about. You decide what works best for you.
Couponing does take time. You will need to decide how much time you want to put into this. I’m hoping that by putting this website together that you will be able to get some great deals with very little effort and time on your part.
I’m so glad that I can share all these great deals with you! If you ever have a question, don’t hesitate to ask!
